For many years I found my life taking turns that seemed unrelated. I have been a women's shoe salesman, perfume peddler, maintenance man, I.T. help desk agent, coach (sports and leadership), customer service agent, facilities manager, executive assistant, and a pastor. There are many more positions and titles that I have had in my adult working life, which all seem unrelated. Now, I look at my current phase of life and I can see how all of them have played a part in who I am becoming. Don't you wish someone could help you do the same?
As a public speaker and leadership coach on the John Maxwell Team, I can help you with discovering your trajectory and how to focus on it. I deliver dynamic audience engaging talks and keynotes, along with workshops and customized leadership training. My many years of leadership coaching have impacted the lives of ministers, entrepreneurs, self- employed contractors, and management teams in both for-profit and not-for-profit arenas. The variety of audiences I have helped have allowed me to be able to adapt to your need with a passionate delivery.
My training and development background spans over 25 years of experience in positions at IBM, Bellsouth, Siemens, South Carolina Baptist Convention, and as a consultant. In coaching, my style maximizes leader’s strengths while promoting a well-rounded approach to advance vision. I am a professor at Wingate University (Wingate, NC) and City of Hope Bible College (Gaffney, SC). I am also the founder and pastor of Innov8tion Point, a non-denominational church and marketplace ministry center. As you can tell, I still wear many hats.
I am a proud alumnus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Master’s Arts in Christian Thought, 2015) and the illustrious Morehouse College (Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, 1996). I am married to my beautiful wife Timena and we are proud parents of daughters, Ambria and Asha.
I enjoy fishing with friends and watching survival and apocalypse themed tv and movies.
